Three things I
never skip
Three things that show up in every project I take on, whether it is a reconciliation engine for tier-one banks or a token platform with two hundred thousand users. The method has not changed in five years. What it runs on has.
Start with
the problem
Bank reconciliations, asset intelligence, token ecosystems. Same first move every time: find what is actually breaking before touching a pixel. An LLM gets me to the patterns in an afternoon. The outlier still needs a human.
Ship it,
then learn
Design decisions get made on incomplete information. I would rather earn the answer back from real users than wait for a certainty that never arrives. With Figma Make and v0 the prototype is working the same day, so I can hand it over instead of describing it.
Trust beats

What people feel is the moment a workflow stops fighting them, never the effort behind it. Engineers get working code on the system's own tokens, not a redline. Six products shipped and used at scale, and that is still the measure.

What I hand over, and what I keep.
All three of these entered my process in the last two years. Picking the tools was the easy bit. The useful work was figuring out which parts of the job they are genuinely better at, and which parts they quietly make worse.
Clusters a pile of interview notes and feedback into patterns in minutes rather than a day.
Reading every transcript myself. Clustering pulls toward the average, and the outlier is usually the thing worth building.
Generates screens and variants fast, so a concept gets in front of a real user in days instead of weeks.
Deciding what is worth testing. It will cheerfully produce twenty plausible answers to the wrong question.
Turns a prototype into working code, so engineers get something closer to production than a redline.
Checking it against the design system. Drift creeps in fast, and nobody logs the moment a token became a hardcoded hex.
The pattern is the same every time. AI is good at volume and bad at judgement. So I give it the work that scales and keep the decisions that do not, then write down where the line sits so the rest of the team is not guessing.
Conscientious about understanding the user problem. Flexible, timely and quick to incorporate feedback. A pleasure to work with.
